The 2022 season ended for us last weekend with a small, atmospheric performance at Limes fort Pohl in Rhineland-Palatinate. Unlike most of our performances, we were travelling as auxiliaries in compliance with the location and were allowed to stay in the permanent housing instead of tents. Our programme was complemented by some traders and craftsmen from our civilian repertoire.

All in all, we can now look back on a year with no less than 18 events. From small performances such as the operation of the baking ovens in the Xanten Archaeological Park to filming in Wesel and participation in the International Museum Day and the Open Monument Day, both in Haus Bürgel, to large events such as the Roman Days in Haltern, all kinds of performances were included and were great fun. Now we are off to our winter quarters, where all kinds of work is waiting for us so that we can be back in full force next season.
